Dr. Jeff Bieter - Optometrist
Dr. Jeff grew up in Cottage Grove. After completing his training at the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN in 1994, he
returned "home." He has been practicing for the past several years at the Allina Medical Clinic but has recently decided to
embark on a new journey and open his own practice.
Dr. Jeff is certified in diagnostic pharmaceutical agents, therapeutic
pharmaceutical agents and CPR. He is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Minnesota Optometric Association.
His professional interests include ocular disease and injury, glaucoma, retina, and keratoconus.
His hobbies include woodworking, horses, outdoor activities,
cooking and spending time with his wife and children.

Dr. Sheri Hibbett Bieter - Optometrist
Dr. Sheri Hibbett Bieter is the newest addition to the Bieter Eye Center staff. She grew up in Springfield, IL, before going
to college and graduate school at the Southern College of Optometry in Tennessee. She practiced there for 11 years.
Since moving to Prescott, WI in 2005, she has found that she enjoys the springs, summers, and falls here,
but is still getting used to the cold northern winters. She loves being an optometrist and is excited to start getting to
know more people in Cottage Grove and the surrounding communities. In her free time, Dr. Sheri enjoys taking walks, doing yoga,
and spending time with her husband, Dr. Jeff Bieter, and her two stepchildren.

Tracy - Certified Optician / Office Manager
Tracy joins our team bringing several years of optical experience with her. She is a licensed optician certified by the American Board of
Opticianry. She has that knack to get your glasses adjusted "just so" and is always eager and pleased to help you pick out the
perfect pair of glasses that look great. If any questions arise about lenses, frames or style please call or stop in and ask for
Tracy. She will be happy to help.
In her spare time, she enjoys being with her husband and two little boys and her new baby girl.

Josh - Certified Optician / Lab Technician
Josh is now one of our full-time opticians at Bieter Eye Center. He started out working part time in our lab and did such a great job, he is doing much
more now. He stays up to date with the newest technology in lenses and coatings so if you ever have any question regarding your glasses or your
lenses, he would love to talk to you.
Josh was married a little over a year ago and has an adorable step-daughter. He and his wife are expecting a baby boy at the
end of this year so lots of excitement in his household.

Kari - Optometric Technician
Kari is one of our optometric technicians, she assists the doctors by pre-testing our patients and helping with several important parts of the eye exam. She is
also trained on all of our equipment that is used for Glaucoma and other eye disease treatments. She has learned very quickly how to handle the
contact lens ordering and brings lots of organization to our office!!
When Kari is not working, she stays very busy having fun with her husband and three children.

Shelly - Front Desk Coordinator
Shelly has been on our team for over a year now. We are very excited to have her for many reasons, one being that she has been a resident of
Cottage Grove for over 30 years. This means she already knows many of you and should be a familiar face when you come into the office and will
be the very friendly voice you now hear on the phone.
Shelly is taking care of scheduling appointments, confirming those appointments and checking on insurance benefits. If you
have any questions, call and ask for Shelly. If she doesn't know the answer right away, she will work hard to find it for you. She also has
a good eye for fashion so if you need that extra opinion when you are searching for that perfect pair of glasses, she would love to help!!
Shelly has 2 sons and is a loyal hockey fan for Park since one of her boys plays on the team.

Cherri - Optometric Technician / Contact Lens Specialist
Cherri has taken the position of our second doctor's technician. She is one of the people who may be doing your pre-testing and getting you ready for your exam
with Dr. Bieter or Dr. Hibbett. She has a lot of experience already and is very open to learning new things. She has also taken over the role of Contact Lens
Specialist so she is in charge of ordering contacts and if you are a new wearer to contacts, it is likely she will be doing your education!
In her free time, Cherri loves to read but her passion is writing poetry.
