Bieter Eye Center - Optos Optomap® Retinal Exam

In our continued effort to provide patients with the most advanced eyecare technology available, Bieter Eye Center now recommends the Optomap® as a very important part of our patients' eye examination.



	Optomap® Retinal Exam

Through the use of the Optomap®, early detection of diseases such as macular degeneration, glaucoma and retinal tears or detachments can be made and the appropriate treatments provided.

An Optomap® Retinal Exam provides:

A scan to confirm a healthy eye or to detect the presence of disease.
An overview or map of the retina, giving Dr. Bieter a more detailed view than can be achieved by other means.
The opportunity for you to view and discuss the images of your eye produced by Optomap® with Dr. Bieter.
A permanent record for your medical file, enabling Dr. Bieter to make important comparisons if potential problems show themselves at a future examination.
